Buckz Boyz are big hit at Island Events

Last night’s ”Kool Kailua Nights” Health & Wellness Street FestIval, to benefit research against breast cancer, attracted an audience of around 5,000 individuals.
The Buckz Boyz performance was a hit! The newspapers offered us feature stories after the show, with articles in the main newspapers (both the Midweek and Star Bulletin).
The crowd followed us over to “Board Riders” for the AFTER SHOCK Party, with Maxx Effexx, a dance hall reggae free-style rapper - the hip bar and dance hall…. and we packed the house.
People danced and were captivated by the band’s high energy and tight tunes, and it looks like the two new songs are hits.
People kept asking if the CD had these two particular songs ~ “It’s a Nice Time” and “Another Day” (both new ones by Danny Rodgers). Too bad. All we had was the old one “Genuine” and blinky “Buckz Boyz” pins. The Boyz all did a great job.
The plans are for the boys to practice for the February 16th gig at Bikini Cantini’s above Duke’s Restaurant right on the beach, and back at Board Riders the next night. The show is getting better even as we speak.
They have a neat medley that will be fantastic as an opening song!! The Band has evolved, over the past year, into a tremendous force, with no missing elements in their 3-hour performance.
However, one essential ingredient we’re interviewing for is the “Sound Person“ to go along with the band to every gig to manage the important audio tech part.
The boyz play various instruments and sing on different mics so the levels need to be carefully individualized and balanced. I think we found someone who would be a good fit. We will see if Karen is the one for the job!
Danielle Sherman, from Soiree Events USA is the individual who put on the event, and she did a great job. She is from NYC and is heading back there in February. Danielle as a pro that can’t be beat!
BERNIE & LYNN Dohrmann, founders of IBI Global, are coming here to Honolulu this coming week. Jai Rodgers will be taking Danielle Sherman, Maxx Effexx, and Mary Kahn (Maxx’s awesome wife) and some others to see them.
I have someone researching “product” for me for my QVC and/or Home Shopping Network project (this is the money magnet). I will be talking with him on Tuesday to get costs, probability projections, labeling, etc……Things here are great.
We are putting together a summary of our 2006 accomplishments and our 2007 goals for Kehau Kali, Hawaii IBI Global Area Director, Budweiser, Ruth’s Bio Pro Technology, Heavenly Honey Solutions, One Stop Entertainment, and Earth Made Clean & Cool who are sponsoring almost 60 radio spots for us for February 16th, and thanks to Maxx Effexx we are getting this together before we leave for Idaho Falls Monday night for the Melaleuca Senior Director Road To Executive Training.
We’ll be back on Saturday afternoon. We are going from warm Hawaii weather into 8 degree weather, and Buck is shivering and shaking already.
We went to the thrift store and had a hard time finding “long johns” here and we couldn’t even find a pair of gloves! So to keep you posted….. we are accepting sponsors for all our activities.

The emcee said last night “WOW, The Buckz Boyz are going to be BIG!”, and we sense that they really are!!
They have grown up since the IBI Teen Feast and we can’t wait to get them back there to learn and accelerate their performance and to experience other young entrepreneurs from around the world. The Boyz are practicing 6 hours a day which accounts for the fact that they have taken a creative turn in the last few months.
